CLASSICAL COMPOSITIONS

Dan has composed a wide range of classical pieces - orchestral, choral, chamber and solo songs. Among his output Ad Fontem was written for the 2016 English Music Festival. He is composer for the Spectrum Ensemble, London, for whom he wrote Allegro Maestoso and A drop in the Ocean. He has composed A walk in the woods for The Beaira Trio, the Mass of Reverence and Devotion for the Penshurst Choral Society. He has written a concerto for clarinet and chamber orchestra, a serenade for strings, a string quartet, a string octet, a wind quintet, a duet for horn and bassoon, two accompanied choral anthems - Dear Child and I love all beauteous things and a Christmas carol. He has also written a set of three a capella love songs.
